The theatres are fully open again. Because of the relocations of the last theatre seasons, our theatre colleagues decided not to issue a brochure in the beginning of 2021, as theatre guests of De Maaspoort are used to. Behind the screens however, we worked hard on the first edition of the Maaspoort magazine. De Maaspoort proudly launches the magazine with background stories of artists, guests and staff.
"The Maaspoort magazine is completely different from the brochure we normally launch in May. In June, we launched the new theatre programme for the 2021-2022 theatre season, at which time there was still so much uncertainty that printing and distributing a regular brochure would be too big a risk. Therefore, this summer we worked with the entire team on the content of our own Maaspoort magazine. The goal is to get people interested in theatre again and to encourage them to look at the programme online to plan a wonderful evening or afternoon of theatre. Because theatre is more beautiful than ever after such a long period with little theatre. We are very curious as to what our readers think." says Linda Keijzers-van Vegchel, Manager Marketing, Programming & Education at De Maaspoort.
The theatre halls of De Maaspoort can be filled up again. Currently, visitors need to show a corona ticket in combination with a valid ID upon entry. There are about 200 performances planned until June 2022 and there's a choice from all genres again. Last week, major artists such as Fred van Leer, OG3NE and Waylon performed in Venlo. Furthermore, guests can look forward to major musicals such as Titanic and well-known artists to a marathon performance of Het Nationale Theater. Check out the theatre programme here!
The Maaspoort magazine is sent to 6,000 regular guests. The magazine can also be requested free of charge by everyone. in this link or to be picked up at the box office of De Maaspoort.
